Marcellina U. Okehie-Offoha is an assistant professor of sociology at Ithaca College, Ithaca, N.Y. She is a graduate of Morgan State University in Baltimore and obtained her Ph.D. at Temple University in Baltimore and obtained her Ph.D. at Temple University, Philadelphia. She has written and presented many articles that highlight the problems of African women, Africans in general, and Nigerians in particular. Dr. Okehie-Offoha is also the national secretary of Nigerian Professionals, USA, Inc.

Matthew N. O. Sadiku is an associate professor in the College of engineering at Temple University, Philadelphia. He graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria, and received his Ph.D. from Tennessee Technological University, Cookeville, Tenn. He has also taught at Florida Atlantic University and Tennessee Tech and has published over 60 technical papers and 10 books.
