BABS HAYDEN MURDOCK wrote Raymond Floyd Goes to Africa on the shore of Panther Pond in Raymond, Maine, where she lives with her husband and two dogs.

CHRISTA BROWN PAULEY, the illustrator, shares her home on the shor of China Lake, China , Maine, with her husband, her dog, cat and two horses.

These two cousins found much joy in the creation of this read-aloud book for children.
