Product Description

“Guilty of Genocide offers extraordinary explorations of the deep roots of genocide as
embedded in the rise and contemporary practices of the West centering upon the long
neglected genocidal abuses of non-white and indigenous peoples. As fascinating as it is disturbing,
this vital collection should be required reading- especially by people from the USA.”

- Richard Falk, Professor Emeritus of International Law at Princeton University; Special
Rapporteur for the United Nations on Palestinian Human Rights

“As a former US political prisoner/pow, this book highlights the struggles to repair the damages of
hundreds of years of colonial oppression and genocide by the US government.”

- Leonard Peltier, American Indian Movement (still under house arrest after serving close to 50
years behind bars for a crime he did not commit).

“I hope [this initiative] will compel world leaders to show the political will to act on these vile
injustices perpetrated upon the most vulnerable and disadvantaged.”

- HRH Princess Zenani N. Dlamini (daughter of Winnie and Nelson Mandela)

In October 2021, after close to seventy years since the historic We Charge Genocide petition was
brought to the United Nations by Paul Robeson, William Patterson, and W.E.B. DuBois (in
absentia), a historic gathering took place in New York City asserting that genocide was still being
perpetrated within the USA. The International Tribunal on US Human Rights Abuses Against
Black, Brown, and Indigenous Peoples brought together original Black Panthers and civil rights
campaigners, Puerto Rican independence activists and Native American elders, along with scores of
supporters from across the empire. An independent panel of jurists was made up of nine experts in
international law, genocidal practices, human rights policies, indigenous cultures—all to hear
testimony on five counts of US governmental abuse. After intense review, the independent panel, in
a verdict released at the Inter-faith Church Center for the United Nations, unanimously affirmed:
the US remains GUILTY OF GENOCIDE!
