Product Description
The London lectures of Dr. John Henrik Clarke and Dr. Yosef ben-Jochannan were delivered for the Minority Ethnic Unit of the Greater London Council in 1986. Since then there has been a great demand for these lectures, which were recorded along with an extensive question and answer period.
Dr. Clarke had edited these lectures and has expanded the collection to include important biographical notes on both Dr. ben-Jochannan and himself as well an invaluable reading guide on African world history.
Both Dr. Clarke and Dr. ben-Jochannan are prominent elders in the struggle to record and to place in proper global context African history. Both are prolific writers and continue to speak, educate and propagate an African world view.
Dr. John Henrik Clarke is the author and editor of several books, among them, Malcolm X: The Man and His Times, Rebellion in Rhymes and Notes on an African World Revolution: Africa in the Crossroads.
Dr. Yosef ben-Jochannan is the preeminent author of voluminous history books. Recent editions of his classic works, Black Man of the Nile and Africa: The Mother of Western Civilization, are now back in print.
