For nearly four decades, the General Electric Company (GE) of the United States provided me with professional opportunities. I served with pride, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to integrity and compliance. As a former GE executive, I carry not only the pride of my contributions but also the heavy responsibility of exposing the deep-rooted institutional and systemic racism I personally encountered.

When I became President and CEO of GE Africa, my vision was clear; to establish a lasting, mutually beneficial partnership between GE and the African continent; one rooted in shared success and sustainable development.

Under my leadership, GE Africa achieved historic revenue growth and ushered in a new era of progress for the company on the continent. But within five years, that success was methodically dismantled. What unfolded felt like a calculated and racially driven effort to erase the gains (that I and my Dream Team) had made.
