ABOUT THE AUTHOR
FEMI OJO-ADE is Professor Emeritus of French Studies and Black History of St. Marys College of Maryland, USA. He has recently completed a two-year stint as Program of Education and Cultural Exchange Professor at the University of The Gambia. Formerly Head of the Department of Foreign Languages at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Ojo-Ade is currently a Visiting Professor at the Lagos State University, Nigeria. A vastly published and internationally recognized scholar in Black literature and culture, he is also a creative writer. He is working on a new novel, Dog Life Dot Com, while editing a collection of essays by black critics, The Obama Phenomenon.
